Old Paper Background Photoshop

1. Create a new document . For this tut I used 600px x 300px.

2. Set the Foreground color to c59b6d and the Background color to e1caa9.

3. Fill the layer with the background color e1caa9.
4.  Create a new layer, change name to clouds.

5. Go to Filter, hover over Render and click Clouds; set the opacity of this layer to 40%.

6. Create another layer, load the old paper brush or this  old paper brush (paper brushes) and apply it covering the layer. (Make sure your  foreground color is c59b6d). You can pick more than one brush.

Note: how to install new brush.

7. Set the Blend Mode to the brush layer to Multiply and the Opacity to 50%.

8. Merge the layers. Select all layers (select first layer, press and hold Shift key, and click all other layers), than press CTRL and E.

9. Go to Filter and click on Filter Gallery.

Click on arrow to open Texturize folder

and click on Texturizer. Apply the following settings: texture: sandstone, scaling: 60%, relief: 3, light: top.

10. Select the Burn Tool (O),

set the brush size to 200px, range: shadows and exposure to 70%.

Paint around the edge until you get the result you like.
