How to recommend a publication on Substack? (Kako preporuciti publikaciju na Substack?)

Problem: you want to recommend someone's publication on Substack.

Solution: in the Audience section there are Recommendations.

1. In the Chrome browser, type or copy the address of your publication.

2. You are on the "Home" page. Here are the most recent posts for the publications you have subscribed to.

3. Click on your profile picture, in the upper right corner.

4. Select “Dashboard” from the menu at the bottom.

5. In the upper left corner, click on the three dashes one below the other.

6. From the menu on the left, click the down arrow next to “Audience”.

6. In the Substack application, find the name of the publication you want to recommend.

7. In the "Audience" sub-menu, click on "Recommendations".

8. The "Recommendations" page has opened. Click on the "Add recommendation" button.

Later, under the "Add recommendation" button, you will have already recommended publications in the Active tab.

9. In the window that opened from below "Add recommendation",

In the first field, start writing the name of the publication you want to recommend, in this example the word is "Detective" from the publication "Detective's desk". A drop-down menu will open, so select a publication.

10. In the second field, write why you recommend the publication.

11. Click on the "Add recommendation" button.

12. In the "Active" tab (active recommendations) you will see the publication you added.

13. If you want to change the publication recommendation text, click on the pencil icon. The "Edit recommendation" window will open.

14. Change what you want and click the "Save" button.

15. In the Substack application, when you click on your profile picture, the "Activity" tab will open. Below your last post (article) you will see your recommendation.

Problem: hocete da preporucite neciju publikaciju na Substack.

Resenje: u sekciji Publika nalaze se Preporuke.

Ja sam na telefonu. U hrom pretraživaču na mobilnom prikazu.

1. U hrom pretraživaču, ukucajte ili prekopirajte adresu vase publikaciju.

2. Na “Home” stranici ste. Tu su objave najnovije, za publikacije na koje ste se pretplatili.

3. Kliknite na vasu profilnu sliku, u gornjem desnom uglu.

4. Iz menija odozdo izaberite “Dashboard”.

5. U gornjem levom uglu, kliknite na tri crtice jedna ispod druge.

6. Iz menija sa leve strane, kliknite na strelicu na dole pored “Audience” (Publika).

6. U aplikaciju Substack pronadjite ime publikacije koju zelite da preporucite.

7. U podmeniju “Audience” (Publika) kliknite na “Recommendations” (Preporuke).

8. Otvorila vam se stranica “Recommendations” (Preporuke). Kliknite na dugme “Add recommendation” (dodajte preporuku).

Kasnije, ispod dugmeta “Add recommendation” (dodajte preporuku) imacete u tabu Active (aktivne Preporuke) vec preporucene publikacije.

9. U prozoru koji se otvorio odozdo, "Add recommendation" (dodati preporuku),

u prvo polje pocnite da pisete ime publikacije koju zelite da preporucite, u ovom primeru rec je “Detective” od publikacije “Detective’s desk”. Otvorice vam se padajuci meni, pa izaberite publikaciju.

10. U drugo polje, upisite zašto preporucujete ti publikaciju.

11. Kliknite na dugme “Add recommendation” (dodati preporuku).

12. U tabu “Active” (aktivne preporuke) videcete publikaciju koju ste dodali.

13. Ako zelite da promenite tekst za preporuku publikacije, kliknite na ikonicu olovka. Otvorice vam se prozor “Edit recommendation” (Uredi preporuku).

14. Promenite sta zelite i kliknite dugme “Save” (sacuvati).

15. U aplikaciji Substack, kada kliknete na vasu profilnu sliku otvorice vam se "Activity" tab (Aktivnosti). Ispod vaseg zadnjeg posta (članka) videcete vasu preporuku.
