Problem: you want to sign up for The Minuette Foodzine but don't know how.
Solution: enter your email address and the download file will automatically open for you.
The example is from the phone, for Firefox browser.
1. You entered your email address in the form on The Minuette Food Recipes blog to sign up for The Minuette Foodzine e-newsletter.
You clicked on the "I want my copy" button.
A menu from below will open:
Open this link in the Drive app
Below is the source of the document, in this example from my blog with food recipes (Link from theminuette.blogspot.com)
Click on "View details".
You have:
- Source of URL which means where you came from and which page. In this example, from the page on my blog where there is a form for signing up for the e-newsletter.
- URL destination - the address of the file on Google Drive which means the link to the RAR file you want to download, on my Google Drive, i.e. where the file you want to download is placed.
- URL if opening in Firefox which means it shows the exact web address to which the browser will redirect you if you choose to stay in the Firefox browser (instead of opening the file through the Google Drive application). In this case, that address is exactly the same as the main destination address Destination URL.
- Unique identifier which means the technical name (ID) for the Google Drive application on your phone. The system tells you that this application is the best for opening the link.
This initiates the saving of the file in your "Downloads" folder if you do not have a RAR application; if you have the RAR application, you will be offered to use it to unzip the file.
Below is a tutorial.
Option 1 - remain a Firefox browser.
2. The file download option opens automatically.
You will see the contents of the RAR file.
If you signed up for the e-newsletter in Serbian, you will see 3 pdf files. Click on the icon of the down arrow and the reversed letter p in Cyrillic. Then click on "Download".
If you signed up for the e-newsletter in English, you will see 4 pdf files. Click on the down arrow icon. Then click on "Download".
The downloaded RAR file is in your "Downloads" folder.

Option 2 - open in application.
If you click on the option to stay in the Firefox browser, you will be presented with options if you want to follow another user of the Kit.com form.
This is showing up because I'm using the free Kit.com form option.
3. If you don't want to subscribe anywhere else, click on "Deselect all" (uncheck all offered options).
Click on “Maybe later”.
4. If you select the "Open in app" option, you will automatically be given the option to choose the email with which you will download the RAR file.
I chose one because I have 10 ππ
5a. Then, if you have a RAR application, you will be offered to unpack the RAR file with that application.
5b. If you do not have the RAR application, it will be saved in the "Downloads" folder. The article for you is - How do you unzip a ZIP file on your phone? (You have the link above).
6. If you have a RAR application, we continue with unpacking.
7. Click on the RAR application.
8. The RAR file TheMinuetteFoodzine.rar opens.
9. A message will open asking you to support the work of the people who made the RAR application.
Click on “Dismiss”.
10. Select all four files by clicking on the empty squares. Then click on the icon of three books with an up arrow.
11. The "Extraction options" window will open.
You need to choose where you will save the RAR file, i.e. pdf documents.
Click on the “Destination path” button in the upper left corner.
12. The proposed options for where to save will open. Find the path that contains the word "Download". Click on it. If you can't find
/storage/emulated/0/Download
Find similar such as on the image below, which is
/storage/emulated/0/Download/srFoodzine
Because you can change the last word to whatever you want your folder name to be.
Now your path is:
/storage/emulated/0/Download/srFoodzine
Which means that the unpacked files will be saved in the srFoodzine folder in "Downloads" folder.
But
You can enter the name of the folder, if you want these pdf files to be separated from the main folder for downloading documents, i.e. to be in a separate folder.
In this example, I entered "enFoodzine", but don't forget after the letter d you need to have a slash / and then to write the name of the folder.
So the path will look like this:
/storage/emulated/0/Download/nameofyoufolder
In this example:
/storage/emulated/0/Download/enFoodzine
Leave the other options selected as they are. And there are two options:
- "Ask before overwrite" (before it overwrites the name).
- "Display extracted files" - View unpacked files.
When you enter the name folder, click OK.
The enFoodzine folder has been created on your phone.
13. You will be shown an unzipped RAR file with the contents of 4 pdf documents.
14. Exit the RAR application. You need to go to "Downloads".
Click on “Files” on the phone.
15. Click on "Downloads".
16. You will see a folder created at the top, in this example "srFoodzine". When you click on it, pdf documents will appear from the RAR file The-Minuette-Foodzine.rar.
That's it. Ta-daaaaaaaa :)
Note:
If you are wondering why there are 3 pdf files in Serbian and 4 in English, it is because in addition to the 3 pdf files that are related to the September e-newsletter, there is a file in English for making body creams from my third blog, The Minuette Inspektor J, which is dedicated to making homemade creams, balms, soaps and similar things. And I don't have the original file in Serbian (it got lost somewhere).

1. Upisali ste vasu email adresu u formu na blogu The Minuette Food Recipes da bi ste se prijavili za e-bilten The Minuette Foodzine.
Kliknuli ste na dugme ‘Zelim svoj primerak”.
Otvorice vam se meni odozdo.
Otvorite ovaj link u drajv aplikaciji (en. Open this link in the Drive app?)
Ispod pise izvor dokumenta, u ovom primer sa mog bloga sa receptima o hrani (en. Link from theminuette.blogspot.com)
Kliknite na “View details” (pogledati detalje).
Imate:
- Izvor URL-a (en. Source of url) sto znaci odakle ste dosli sa koje stranice. U ovom primeru, sa stranice na mom blogu gde se nalazi forma za prijavu na e-bilten.
- Adresa fajla na Gugl Drajv-u (en. URL destination) sto znaci link do RAR fajla koji zelite da preuzmete, na Gugl Drajv-u kod mene tj. gde je postavljen fajl koji zelite da preuzmete.
- Url ako otvarate u citacu fajrfoks (en. Firefox). URL if opening in Firefox) sto znaci prikazuje tacnu veb adresu na koju ce te pretrazivac preusmeriti ako izaberete da ostanete u citacu Fajrfoks (umesto da otvorite fajl preko Gugle Drajv aplikacije). U ovom slucaju, ta adresa je potpuno ista kao i glavna adresa odredista “Adresa fajla na Gugl Drajv-u” (en. Destination URL).
- Unikatni identifikator (en. Unique identifier) sto znaci technicki naziv (ID) za Gugl Drajv aplikaciju na vasem telefonu. Sistem vam time govori da je ta aplikacija najbolja za otvaranje linka.
Ovo inicira sacuvavanje fajla u vas “Downloads” folderu (fasickla preuzimanje) ako nemate RAR aplikaciju.
Ako imate RAR aplikaciju bice vam ponudjeno da uz pomoc nje raspakujete fajl.

Opcija 1 - ostani citacu fajrfoks.
2. Ako kliknete na opciju da ostanete u citacu Fajrfoks ovorice vam se predlog opcija ako zelite da zapratite jos nekog od korsnika Kit.com forme.
Ovo se pojavljuje zato sto koristim besplatnu opciju Kit.com forme.
3. Ako ne zelite da se jos negde pretplatite, kliknite na “Deselect all” (otcekirati sve ponudjene opcije).
Kliknite na “Maybe later” (mozda kasnije).
4. Automatski vam se otvara opcija za preuzimanje fajla.
Videcete sadrzaj RAR fajla.
Ako ste se prijavili za e-bilten na srpskom jeziku, videcete 3 pdf fajla. Kliknite na ikonicu strelica na dole i obrnuto slovo p cirilicno. Zatim kliknete na “Download” (Preuzmi).
Ako ste se prijavili za e-bilten na engleskom jeziku, videcete 4 pdf fajla. Kliknite na ikonicu strelica na dole. Zatim kliknete na “Download” (Preuzmi).
Preuzet RAR fajl je u vasem “Downloads” folderu (fasickla preuzimanje).

Opcija 2 - otvori u aplikaciji.
5. Ako izaberete opciju “Open in app” (otvori u aplikaciji, automatski vam se otvara opcija da odaberete email sa kojim cete preuzeti RAR fajl.
Ja sam odabrala jedan jer imam 10 ππ
5a. Zatim, ako imate RAR aplikaciju, ponudice vam da sa tom aplikacijom raspakujete RAR fajl.
5b. Ako nemate RAR aplikaciju, sacuvace vam se u “Downloads” folderu (Fasickla preuzimanje). Za vas je clanak Kako raspakovati ZIP fajl na telefonu? (Imate link iznad).
6. Ako imate RAR aplikaciju, nastavljamo dalje sa raspakivanjem.
7. Kliknite na RAR aplikaciju.
8. Otvara se RAR fajl TheMinuetteFoodzine.rar.
9. Otvorice vam se poruka da podrzite rad osoba koje su napravile RAR aplikaciju.
Kliknite na “Dismiss” (odbaci).
10. Selektujte sva tri fajla klikom na prazne kvadratice. Zatim kliknite na ikonicu tri knjige sa strelicom na gore.
11. Otvorice vam se prozor “Extraction options” (opcije za raspakivanje).
Treba da odaberete gde cete sacuvati raspakovan RAR fajl tj. pdf dokumente.
Kliknite na “Destination path” (krajnja putanja), dugme u gornjem levom uglu.
12. Otvorice vam se predlozene opcije gde da sacuvate.
Nadjite putanju koja sadrΕΎi rec “Download” (fasickla preuzimanje). Kliknite tu.
Sad je vasa putanja
/storage/emulated/0/Download
Sto znaci da ce se raspakovani fajlovi sacuvati u folderu “Downloads” (fasickla preuzimanje).
Ali
Mozete da upisete ime foldera, ako zelite da ti pdf fajlovi budu odvojeni od glavnog foldera za preuzimanje dokumenata tj. da budu u posebnom folderu.
U ovom primeru, ja sam upisala “srFoodzine”. S tim sto treba posle reci Download, odmah nakon slova d da stavite kosu crtu / i onda da upisete ime foldera.
Znaci putanja ce izgledati ovako:
/storage/emulated/0/Download/srFoodzine
Ostale opcije koje su izabrane ostaviti kako jesu. A to su dve opcije:
- “Ask before overwrite” (pre nego sto prepise preko naziva).
- “Display extracted files”. Prikazi raspakovane fajlove.
Kada ste upisali ime foldera kliknite na OK.
Na vasem telefonu kreiran je folder srFoodzine.
13. Prikazace vam se raspakovam RAR fajl sa sadrΕΎajem od 3 pdf dokumenta.
14. Izadjite iz RAR aplikacije. Treba da odete do “Downloads” (fasickla preuzimanje).
Kliknite na “Files” (fajlovi) na telefonu.
15. Kliknite na “Downloads” (fasickla preuzimanje).
16. Videcete na vrhu vas kreiran folder, u ovom primeru “srFoodzine”. Kad kliknete na njega pojavice vam se pdf dokumenti, RAR fajla The-Minuette-Foodzine.rar.
To je sve. Tadaaaaaa :)
Napomena:
Ako se pitate zaΕ‘to na srpskom ima 3 pdf fajla a na engleskom 4, to je zato Ε‘to pored 3 pdf fajla koji su povezani sa septembarskim e-biltenom, ima fajl na engleskom za Pravljenje krema za telo sa mog treceg bloga The Minuette Inspektor J koji je posvecen pravljenju domacih krema, balzama, sapuna i slicnim stvarima. A nemam original fajl na srpskom (negde se izgubio).
