How to sort a column in a GSC report in Google Sheets? (Kako sortirati kolonu u GSC izvestaju u Gugl Tabeli?)

Problem: You have a report downloaded from Google Search Console (GSC) in a Google Sheet, and you don't know how to sort a column by a value.

Solution: create a filter.

And how? Let's go step by step. The tutorial is from the phone. An example is with the report from the article How to download the Performance report from the Google Search Console (GSC) as a Google Sheet?

1. Open the Google Sheets report that you downloaded from the Google Search Console (GSC).

2. In this example, we sort the column "Position". Select the entire column. Click on the letter of the column, in this example the letter E.

3. In the upper right corner, click on the three dots one below the other. From the drop-down menu, click on “Create a filter”

4. You will receive a message in the lower part of the phone that the filter has been created.

5. In the lower part of the phone, above the options for formatting the table, you have created a filter with the name of the column, in this example "Position".

Click on the icon, in the right corner, three dashes one below the other.

6. From here, the "Sort and filter" menu will open for sorting and filtering.

Click on the icon of three dashes one below the other, with the text "Filter by condition".

7. The Filter by condition menu is opened.

Under the text "Filter items if..." click on "None".

From the drop-down menu, I chose "Greater than", because I want to see which articles are after the 10th position, so that I can fix them, and if possible, rank better in the search engine.

In the field below, "Value or formula", I entered 10.

Then in the upper left corner, click the check mark to confirm the filter.

8. You still have the "Sort and filter" menu open from the bottom.

Next to the word "Position" at the top of the table, i.e. column E, you have a funnel icon. This means that the table has a filter. 

If you exit the report, for some reason, when you open the table again, the funnel filter will still be there. 

If you want to change, e.g. order of values, click on the funnel icon and a menu will open in the lower part of the phone.

9a. Click on A to Z, with the down arrow icon and the line below it, if you want to sort from the smallest value to the largest (from 10 to e.g. 100, depending on how many rows you have).

9b. Click on Z to A, with the up arrow icon and the line above it, if you want to sort from a higher value to a lower value (e.g. from 100 to 10, depending on how many rows you have).

10. If you click on the three dots one below the other, in the upper right corner, in the drop-down menu, the third option is "Remove filter".

If you click on it you can set a new filter.

That's all. Tadaaaaa :)

Problem: imate izvestaj koji ste preuzeli iz Gugl konzole za pretragu (GSC) u Gugl Tabeli, a ne znate kako da sortirate kolonu po nekoj vrednosti.

Resenje: kreirati filter.

A kako? Idemo korak po korak. Tutorijal je sa telefona. Primer je sa izvestajem iz clanka Kako preuzeti Performans izvestaj iz Gugl konzole za pretragu (GSC) kao Gugl Tabela?

1.  Otvorite izvestaj u Gugl Tabeli koji ste preuzeli iz Gugl konzole za pretragu (GSC).

2. U ovom primeru, sortiramo kolonu “Pozicija” (en. Position). Selektujte celu kolonu. Kliknite na slovo kolone, u ovom primeru slovo E.

3. U gornjem desnom uglu, kliknite na tri tackice jedna ispod druge. Iz padajuceg menija kliknite na “Kreirati filter” (en. Create a filter).

4. Dobicete poruku u donjem delu telefona da je filter kreiran.

5. U donjem delu telefona, iznad opcija za formatiranje tabele, imate kreiran filter sa imenom kolone, u ovom primeru “Pozicija” (en. Position).

Kliknite na ikonicu, u desnom uglu, tri crtice jedna ispod druge.

6. Odozdo ce vam se otvoriti meni “Sortirati i filtrirati” (en. Sort and filter) za sortiranje i filtriranje. 

Kliknite na ikonicu tri crtice jedna ispod druge, sa tekstom “Filtrirati sa uslovom” (en. Filter by condition).

7. Otvorio se menu za "Filtriranje sa uslovom” (en. Filter by condition).

Ispod teksta “Filtriraj stavke ako…” (en. Filter items if…), kliknite na “Nijedan” (en. None).

Iz padajuceg menija, ja Sam izabrala “Vece od” (en. Greater than”, zato sto zelim da vidim koji clanci se nalaze posle 10.-te pozicije, da mogu da ih popravim, i da ako je moguce, bolje se rangiraju u pretrazivacu.

 U polju ispod, “Vrednost ili formula" (en. Value or formula), upisala sam 10. 

Zatim u gornjem levom uglu, kliknite na kvacicu da potvrdite filter.

8. I dalje vam je otvoren meni odozdo “Sortirati i filtrirati” (Sort and filter).

Pored reci “Pozicija” (en. Position), na vrhu tabele tj. kolone E, imate ikonicu levak. To znači da tabela ima filter. Ako izadjete iz izvestaja, iz nekog razloga, kad budete ponovo otvorili tabelu, filter cevi dalje biti tu. 

Ako zelite da promenite, npr. redosled vrednosti, kliknite na ikonicu levak i otvorice vam se meni u donjem delu telefona.

9a. Kliknite na A do Z, sa ikonicom strelica na dole i crtom ispod nje, ako zelite da poredjajte od manje vrednosti ka vecoj (od 10 pa do npr. 100, zavisi koliko imate redova).

9b. Kliknite na Z do A, sa ikonicom strelica na gore i crtom iznad nje, ako zelite da poredjajte od vece vrednosti ka manjoj (npr., od 100 pa do 10, zavisi koliko imate redova).

10. Ako kliknete na tri tackice jedna ispod druge, u gornjem desnom uglu, u padajucem meniju, treca opcija je “Ukloniti filter“ (en. Remove filter).

Ako over kliknete mozete da postavite novi filter.
