And how to confirm your subscription to The Minuette Foodzine and unzip the zip (RAR) file on your phone.
Problem: you signed up for someone's e-newsletter. You need to confirm your subscription in the email address, but the message ended up in the spam folder.
Solution: you need to find the email in the Spam folder and Report it as not spam, i.e. activate it so that it is not spam.
And how? Let's go step by step.
An example is to sign up for my e-newsletter The Minuette Foodzine, on the blog The Minuette Food Recipes.
To extract a zip (RAR) file you need a ZIP or RAR application. You can find how to download it to your phone in the article How do you unzip a ZIP file on your phone? Steps 1 and 2.
See the note at the end of the article.
0. After you entered your email in the form for signing up for The Minuette Foodzine e-newsletter and pressed the "I want my copy" button, you received a message that you have successfully signed up.
You need to confirm your subscription in the email message.
1. Log in to the email you used in the e-newsletter sign-up form.
2. Go to the Spam folder. You will see an email from houseunderthemoon (at) gmail (dot) com, with a gray icon and an exclamation mark.
houseunderthemoon is an email from the blog House under the Moon, because an email that goes with the blog The Minuette Food Recipes is almost full.
3. Click on it to open an email message.
4. At the top of the email you have a gray block of text: why is this message in spam? This message is similar to messages that have been recognized as spam in the past.
Below is the content of the email to confirm your subscription to The Minuette Foodzine.
Since I know that I am not a spammer (the sender of spam), click on the “Report not spam” button.
5. In this example, I have nothing in the spam folder except for that email. You will receive a message in the lower part of the phone: 1 reported as not spam. Future messages from this sender will be sent to the Inbox.
6. Click on “Updates”.
7. The first email from above is from houseunderthemoon, which you marked as not spam.
8. Click to open the message to confirm your subscription to The Minuette Foodzine e-newsletter.
9. Click on the white text link.
If you click on the blue part without text, nothing will happen, that is, the confirmation will not be activated.
So, click on the white text link.
10. The download of the document (RAR file) is automatically activated. Click on the "Open" button.
10a. If you have a ZIP or RAR application, you will be offered to unpack the zip (RAR) file.
10b. If you do not have a ZIP or RAR application, the document will be in the "Downloads" folder. You can later unzip this file.
11. The RAR application opens and you see the RAR file. The name of that file is en-4-the-minuette-foodzine.rar
The number 4 indicates the number of documents in the zip (rar) file.
Note for file name:
This is the name of the document for people who subscribed through the form in English. For those who subscribed via the Serbian version of the form, the name is different (the-minuette-foodzine).
Select the file you need to unzip. Click on an empty square. Click on the icon with three books and an up arrow to unpack the RAR file.
12a. The unpacking options will open. Under the two buttons on the line, change the name of the folder if you wish. It is not mandatory.
The first and last options are selected by default. I left it like that.
- The first selected option "Ask before you overwrite" (ask before you change the name), means that the application asks you before unpacking the file. I like to know that, so I leave this option.
- The second selected option is "Display extracted files". I like to see this in the "Downloads" folder.
If you change the file name, be careful not to delete the slash.
12b. Enter the name you want, in this example enFoodzine. Click on OK in the lower part of the phone in the right corner.
Since the name of the RAR file is changed here to the name of the folder, which will be found on the phone, I want a shorter name.
13. Now you see the documents of the unpacked RAR file. In the lower part on the phone, you have the path where the folder you renamed is located. If you have not changed the name, they will write the name of the RAR file, in this example, en-4-the-minuette-foodzine.
14. You need to get to the "Downloads" folder. Click on "Files".
15. Click on the "Downloads" folder.
16. If you are on the option "All" documents, the RAR file that you unpacked and the unpacked documents will be on top.
The picture shows duplicates.
17. On the top line next to the "Download" folder, you have a folder, in this example enFoodzine, with only 4 (pdf) documents in it.

Note:
Why am I writing twice How to unzip a zip file on the phone?
Because the first time I didn't have the RAR application and when I confirmed the subscription to the e-newsletter, the zip file was in the "Downloads" folder. That was when I tested the form in the Serbian language.
Since I now have a RAR application, when testing the form in English, the RAR application for unpacking is automatically opened.
This means that if you might already have a ZIP or RAR application on your phone, this article is for you; if you don't, the first article is the one for you (link to that article is in the beginning of this article).

I kako da potvrdite vasu pretplatu na The Minuette Foodzine i da raspakujete zip fajl na telefonu.
Problem: prijavili ste se na neciji e-bilten. Treba da potvrdite vasu prijavu na email adresu, ali poruka je zavrsila u spam folderu.
Resenje: treba da pronadjete email u Spam folderu i da ga Prijavite tj. aktivirate da nije spam.

Da bi raspakovali zip fajl potrebna vam je ZIP ili RAR aplikacija. Kako da je preuzmete na telefon imate u clanku Kako raspakovati ZIP fajl na telefonu? Koraci 1 i 2.

0. Nakon sto ste upisali email za prijavu na e-bilten The Minuette Foodzine i pritisnuli dugme “Zelim svoj primerak”, dobili ste poruku da ste se uspesno prijavili.
Treba da potvrdite vasu pretplatu u email poruci.
1. Ulogujte se u vas email koji ste ostavili u formi za prijavu na e-bilten.
2. Idite u Spam folder. Videcete email od houseunderthemoon (at) gmail (dot) com, sa sivom ikonicom i znakom uzvika.
houseunderthemoon email je sa bloga House under the Moon, je email koji ide uz blog The Minuette Food Recipes je skoro pun.
3. Kliknite da udjete u email poruku.
4. Na vrhu email-a imate sivi blok teksta: zasto je ova poruka u spamu? Ova je poruka slicna porukama koje su u proslosti prepoznate kao nezeljena posta (spam).
Ispod imate sadrzaj email-a, za potvrdu pretplate na The Minuette Foodzine.
Posto znam da nisam (en. spammer) posiljaoc nezeljene poste, kliknite na dugme “Report not spam” (Prijavite da nije nezeljena posta).
5. U ovom primeru, ja osim tog email-a nemam nista u spam folderu. Dobicete poruku u donjem delu telefona: 1 prijavljen da nije nezeljena posta. Buduce poruke ovog posiljaoca bice poslate u Inboks.
6. Kliknite na “Updates”.
7. Prvi odozgo email je od houseunderthemoon koji ste oznacili da nije spam (nezeljena posta).
8. Kliknite da udjete u poruku da bi potvrdili vasu pretplatu na The Minuette Foodzine e-bilten.
9. Kliknite na beli tekst link.
Ako kliknete na plavi deo bez teksta ništa se nece desiti to jest potvrda se nece aktivirati.

10. Automatski se aktivira preuzimanje dokumenta (zip fajla). Kliknite na dugme “Open” (otvoriti).
10a. Ako imate ZIP ili RAR aplikaciju ona ce vam biti ponudjena da raspakujete zip (RAR) fajl.
10b. Ako nemate ZIP ili RAR aplikaciju, dokument ce biti u “Downloads” (fasickla preuzimanje) folderu. Mozete naknadno raspakovati ZIP fajl.
11. Otvorila se RAR aplikacija i vidite vas RAR fajl. Ime tog fajla je en-4-the-minuette-foodzine.rar
Broj 4 oznacava broj dokumenata u zip (rar) fajlu.
Napomena za ime fajla:
Ovo je naziv dokumenta za osobe koje su se prijavile preko forme na engleskom jeziku. Za one koju se prijavili preko srpske verzije forme naziv je drugaciji (the-minuette-foodzine).
Izaberite fajl koji treba da raspakujete. Kliknite na prazan kvadratic. Kliknite na ikonicu sa tri knjige i strelicom na gore, da raspakujete RAR fajl.
12. Otvorice vam se opcije za raspakivanje. Ispod dva dugmeta na liniji promenite ime foldera (fascikle) ako zelite. Nije obavezno.
Prva i zadnja opcije su standardno izabrane. Ja sam tako ostavila.
- Prva izabrana opcija “Ask before you overwrite” (pitajte pre nego promenite ime), znaci da vas aplikacija pita pre nego sto pocne raspakivanje fajla. Ja to volim da znam pa zato ostavljam ovu opciju.
- Druga izabrana opcija “Display extracted files” (prikazi raspakovana dokumenta). I ovo volim da vidim u “Downloads” (fasickla preuzimanje) folderu.
Ako menjate naziv fajla, pazite da ne obrisete kosu crtu.
Upisite ime koje zelite, u ovom primeru enFoodzine. Kliknite na OK u donjem delu telefona u desnom uglu.
Posto se ovde menja ime RAR fajla u ime foldera (fascikle), koje ce se naci na telefonu, zelim neko krace ime.
13. Sad vidite dokumenta raspakovanog RAR fajla. U donjem delu, imate putanju gde vam se nalazi folder (fasickla) kojoj ste Promenili ime. Ako niste menjali ime, pisace vam ime RAR fajla, u ovom primeru, en-4-the-minuette-foodzine.
14. Treba da dodjete do “Downloads” (fasickla preuzimanje) foldera. Kliknite na “Files” (fajlovi).
15. Kliknite na “Downloads” (fasickla preuzimanje) folder.
16. Ako ste na opciji “All” (svi) dokumenti, na vrhu ce biti RAR fajl koji ste raspakovali i raspakovani dokumenti.
Na slici se vide duplikati.
17. Na gornjoj liniji pored “Download” foldera, imate vas folder, u ovom primeru enFoodzine i u njemu samo 4 (pdf) dokumenta.

Napomena:
Zasto dva puta pisem Kako raspakovati zip fajl na telefonu?
Zato sto prvi put nisam imala RAR aplikaciju i kad sam potvrdila prijavu na e-bilten, zip fajl je bio u “Downloads” (fasickla preuzimanje) folderu. To je bilo kad sam testirala formu na srpskom jeziku.
Posto sad imam RAR aplikaciju, prilikom testiranja forme na engleskom jeziku automatski mi se otvara RAR aplikaciju za raspakivanje.
Sto znaci, mozda vec imate ZIP ili RAR aplikaciju, za vas je ovaj clanak, a ako nemate za vas je prvi clanak (link do tog clanka je na pocetku ovog).
